WiRE FS, a company that combines real estate expertise with the use of technology, published the updated version of WiRE Index, for the second quarter of 2021.
Key observations:
• Quarter on quarter drops in rents across all property categories were recorded, except for apartments.
• Retail properties seem to have been significantly affected by Covid-19 as there is a dramatic annual fall in both prices and rents.
• Houses in Nicosia had the biggest year on year growth in prices, while the biggest year on year increase in apartment rents was in Famagusta.
