Press Release: Ask WiRE Expands In The Greek Market

Ask WiRE, the award-wining fintech that is compiling the dynamic profile of all properties across Europe, has announced the opening of its Athens office. The company aims to improve transparency in the Greek real estate market and provide the necessary infrastructure for banks, insurers, financial institutions, real estate investors, and others to tailor their products and services and facilitate online sales.

The company will be housed at the premises of Eurobank’s EGG (Enter – Grοw – Go), a program that provides essential support to startups and young businesses by offering them office space, mentoring, hands-on business training, and networking opportunities. The EGG initiative began in May 2013 and, to date, has helped more than 1,000 entrepreneurs, from Greece and abroad, to create more than 275 startups.

Pavlos Loizou, Ask WiRE’s CEO, commented, “Greece has one of the most dynamic startup ecosystems across Europe, with the government and corporates being highly proactive in the digital transformation of the economy and their product offerings. This, along with the pick-up in real estate activity, the highly varied geophysical landscape, and the spike in energy prices, offer us tangible collaboration opportunities and the chance to deploy our solutions. We hope to lay robust foundations for our Greek entity and be a valuable contributor to the country’s growing tech ecosystem”.

Ask WiRE offers advisory services and four core products: dynamic real estate pricing and monitoring of market conditions, automated natural risk assessment and reconstruction cost estimate, environmental scoring for ESG regulatory reporting purposes, and a solar calculator for energy generation from photovoltaics. These products are, for the time being, offered as DaaS (data-as-a-service) to corporate clients, with cutting edge SaaS (software-as-a-service) on track for deployment by the end of the year.
